U.I.E.T. is one of the pioneer institutes providing B.Tech. and M.Tech. in Biotechnology. The laboratories are well equipped with all the modern kits and instruments to provide proper assistance to students.
Most of the faculty members are Doctorates. Several national level seminars and conferences on recent advances are organized by the University which are attended by eminent scholars. Special executive meets are also organized which provide an insight into the working of the company.

The eligibility of getting admission into the course of B.Tech in Biotechnology varies from state to state and from college to college. Generally one needs to be at least 10 + 2 passed, with Science stream.
Course Outlook: The course B.Tech in Biotechnology is of four years. The course is divided into 8 semesters, each of 6 months. Examinations are held every 6 months, which are responsible for the promotion of one to the next semester.
Job Prospects: There are plenty of Jobs available for those who pursue the course of B.Tech in Biotechnology. They are readily absorbed in I.T industries, Pharmaceutical Companies, Biotechnology core companies. They are also free to opt for research field as well.
