With the establishment of University Institute of Engineering & Technology in the University, we launched B.Tech in four disciplines during the session 2005-06 and M.Tech in Comp. Science & Engg., Software Engg., Electronics & Communication Engg., Mechanical Engg. with specialization in Manufacturing & Automation and Biotechnology from the academic session 2009-10 onwards.

Two new fields, B.Tech. in Civil Engineering and in Electrical Engineering were introduced from the session 2011-2012 onwards. he Institute has its own teaching blocks with about 18,000 sq. mts of built up space for our seven departments. The four blocks have been constructed at a cost of Rs 31.78 crore.

The Institute has excellent faculty, laboratories, workshops and other essential facilities like a modern well stocked central library for achieving academic excellence. We, in the Institute, provide our students a conducive environment to help them excel in their academic endeavours. We lay emphasis on the overall Development of a student so that he/she is ready to face emerging challenges posed by the highly competitive international business environment. The university has other essential infrastructure facilities like a well developed sports complex including a standard diving-cum- swimming pool, hostels, health Centre, etc for students. The sprawling University campus has been made fully wi-fi with telephony and broadband internet connectivity. I invite all the prospective candidates to the Institute to pursue their B.Tech & M.Tech programmes to achieve their chosen academic goals for which we are committed to provide a perfectly conducive environment.
